Long time, no blog.

Well, I suppose a butt load has happened since I last blogged. The holidays are already finished, American Idol has found a new winner, and Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is now in theatres.
Pretty crazy...but I guess this is about drama, huh?
Well, we "are no longer using scripts", we're less than a week away from our first performance, and Miss Mace is about to crack and lash her frustrations out on the nearest object...I hope it won't be me.
I need to work on my walk and movements a bit...I'm thinking big. I'll imagine everything on me is oversized, and take big, bold steps. But I will still look up some videos of clowns when I have time...and remember.
There are quite a few things that still need to be done, such as getting through the whole play. But I am confident that we'll be fine.

Anyways...Drama is good...
We have started reading through Mirror Mirror and so far I am enjoying it...it is strange and quite entertaining.
Personally I think Kyle would probably be best as the Ring Master or whatever that character was...or maybe even a clown! ...considering he is already one constantly...with naughty things on his mind.
Knots was fun and yet not so fun at the same time...you got to find out how much some people's hands sweat...and watching everyone suggest that Holly do a front-flip and her almost actually doing it before realising that she would end up in the same position only with her arms now twisted around!! Still makes me giggle like the little school girl that I am!

And on that note...I'm off!! WOOOOSH! (That's me flying away!)

Well, besides the actual theory of Drama...Drama seems to be quite a good time so far.
Our class works well together from what I have seen and damn, there are many funny people...most of them being me.
Going through Dreamers was quite the bore...but that was equalised with the fun-ness of the games we have been playing recently, like Park Bench and so on...well, except for that interpretive movement thing...god that was pretty horrible. I felt like a major tool. And I know it was all about letting go but I can do that very easily when I am someone else...not when I'm being myself moving around like a...well, A TOOL!!
Despite that, it would be super fantastic if I have still proven myself to be an awesome actor! :)
